Lee Ann Covington
A native Virginian, Lee Ann grew up in Richmond, graduated from James Madison University, and has lived in Alexandria for the past 30 years. She is a former federal worker, having worked at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Lee Ann has always had a personal interest in real estate, learning from her parents the value of owning investment properties as a means of helping to fund their retirement. She and her husband, Antonio, began investing in and managing their own residential investment properties in the DC metro area in 2008 and have continued to add to their real estate investment portfolio over the years. She prides herself in being able to find a good deal for her clients, whether they are first-time homeowners or folks looking enter the world of real estate investing. In addition to her experience as a savvy real estate investor and property manager, Lee Ann brings many skills from her federal career as an analyst and inspector that benefit her clients. She is a detail-oriented multi-tasker, who excels at analyzing the latest data and trends. She’s outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills and is accustomed to working collaboratively with a wide range of clients. With her prior inspector general background, Lee Ann recognizes the importance of keeping up to date on and complying with the latest national and state laws and regulations. She’s fully transparent with her clients and provides constant updates. In her free time, Lee Ann enjoys skiing and travel. She loves working with international clients and learning about other cultures. She spent six years of her government career on overseas assignments in Spain and Argentina and is fluent in Spanish. She recently took up two new hobbies, line dancing and pickleball.
