Well, they finished and did really well. Cindy’s grandson Capt. Derrick M Anderson and Staff Sgt. Chris L Malone from the 3rd US Infantry Regiment finished 9th in the 2010 Best Ranger Competition at Fort Benning, Georgia. They walked, ran and swam over 70 miles in the grueling event. Derrick and Staff Sgt. Malone are stationed at Fort Myer in Northern Virginia. We love the photo of them crossing the finish line and the one where they’re looking relaxed sitting at the edge of the open door of the helicopter. Great job guys. We’re proud of you and glad you‘re on our side!
