Highgrove Estates is a collection of 148 luxury single-family homes and 15 townhomes in close-in Springfield. The single-family homes were constructed on lots of .19 to .54 acres and feature total square footage between 3,168 and 6,608. Models available include the Barrington, Devonshire, Ashley, Madison, Heatherly, Dorchester, Kendall, Huntington and Yorkshire. Homes with 4, 5 and 6 bedrooms can be found within this community. The townhomes generally have 3 bedrooms with square footage between 1,944 and 1,964. This neighborhood consists of homes along Deer Ridge Trail, Deer Ridge Trail Court, Willowfield Way and Highgrove Park Court; they were all built between 1995 and 2006.

The homeowner’s association maintains a website and a community newsletter, The Highlander, which is produced three times a year. Monthly letters from the HOA President are posted on the website; it also features neighborhood classifieds, recommended service providers and an electronic version of the newsletter. The newsletter features articles of interest to the community and important contact numbers. Neighbors look forward to the annual block party sponsored by the HOA. There is an e-mail list that residents can join to keep abreast of what is happening around the community.
This subdivision is situated just a few traffic lights away from the intersection of Interstates 495, 395 and 95. Whether you are going out to Tyson’s Corner for a day of shopping or heading into your downtown office, you are well on your way. Equally close is the Fairfax County Parkway and the Franconia-Springfield Metro station (blue line trains). VRE and Greyhound have facilities right near the Metro. Local Fairfax Connector and Metro bus routes are available for travel throughout the area. When you need to travel by plane, conveniently located Ronald Reagan National Airport is the place to go. Students living in Highgrove Estates attend Springfield Estates Elementary, Key Middle and Lewis High Schools. Both the Kingstowne Town Center and Springfield Town Center are very close to this community. The Kingstowne Town Center features a 16-screen movie theater, 2 grocery stores and a collection of shops, restaurants and service providers such as Home Goods, World Market, Starbucks, Kingstowne Cleaners, Bonefish Grill, Panera Bread, Firehouse Subs and many more.
Many military establishments are well located near Highgrove Estates. Residents are often stationed at Fort Belvoir, the Pentagon and Fort Myer. Other convenient bases include 2 Coast Guard stations, Bolling Air Force Base, the Navy Yard and Andrews Air Force Base. Lee District Park and RECenter is very close for those looking to stay active. The 193 acre park features several athletic fields, 4 basketball courts, horseshoe pits, walking trails, sand volleyball court, playgrounds, picnic areas, 4 tennis courts and a carousel. There are a multitude of indoor options too: a 50 x 25 meter swimming pool, sauna, fitness center with cardio equipment and weights, racquetball/wallyball courts, multi-purpose rooms, dance/aerobics studios and a gymnasium with basketball courts and indoor track.
