Millwood Estates, located in West Springfield, consists of 81 colonial style townhomes built between 1986 and 1987. Models available are the Barclay, Quincy, Rittenhouse, Delancey and Carlton. Old Keene Mill Center houses a Whole Foods Market, Chicken Out, Austin Grill, Washington Sport and Health Club, Walgreen’s and more. The Springfield Golf and Country Club and several banks are within walking distance. Those looking for a little quiet time need only to go a few minutes to access the Hidden Pond Nature Center and the adjacent Pohick Stream Valley Park. There are acres of protected wetlands, woods, streams and other peaceful places to relax and enjoy nature. South Run Rec Center, a Fairfax County facility, is just a little way down the Fairfax Parkway; it boasts a swimming pool, 2-level fitness center, synthetic turf field house and several sports courts/playing fields.
