A 193-acre park surrounds the RECenter and it includes tot-lots, athletic fields, walking trails, horseshoe pits and an antique carousel. The Kingstowne Town Center is a great resource for area residents. There is a 16-screen movie theater, 2 grocery stores, a variety of service providers, several shops and restaurants. Choices include World Market, Panera Bread, Firehouse Subs and Bonefish Grill. It has a farmer’s market throughout the summer and fall months. Tyson’s Corner and Tyson’s Galleria are the area’s premier shopping destinations; each features department stores, specialty shops, upscale boutiques and fabulous restaurants. Nearby Old Town Alexandria boasts a unique mix of shopping and dining choices along with historic attractions, art galleries and plenty of green space along the Potomac River.
