We are happy to announce that we will once again sponsor Island Creek Elementary School’s annual 5K race on Saturday, April 26th! This is a fast-paced run that starts at the school, goes through the Island Creek and Amberleigh communities before ending up back at the school. More information and a hard copy registration form can be found here. You can also register online at the DC Roadrunners site. The race starts bright and early at 7:30 AM on the 26th. Proceeds from this event will support the Island Creek PTA enrichment programs, book upgrades, field trips, professional education, fitness and recreational activities for students. A one-mile fun run will take place at 8:30 AM.
