Did you know that there are two Restaurant Weeks in full swing around our area? Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week (Aug 15-21) and Alexandria Summer Restaurant Week (Aug 19-28) both offer wonderful opportunities to experience the many delicious options local chefs are cooking up! There are 239 restaurants throughout DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland participating in the Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week. Open Table has a list of all the restaurants here, with the ability to reserve for lunch or dinner. Reservations are definitely recommended because many places can get busy! Distinctive prix-fixe meals are available for $22 (lunch) or $35 (dinner).
Specifically interested in Alexandria, VA restaurants? Over 50 Alexandria restaurants will offer a 3-course dinner for $35 (per person), or a $35 dinner for two, while over two dozen restaurants will also feature lunch specials for $10, $15 or $20 per individual.
